This one is hosted by the Piecemakers Quilt Guild here in Calgary. I haven’t heard of Pippa Moore but she sounds like a delight and I can’t wait to attend her trunkshow.

The Trunk show is Thurs March 31/2011
Pippa Trunk show is called An African Adventure and Travels With My Treadle. A showcase if quilts made with African fabrics or inspired by Africa: vibrant and energetic and full color, like the continent from which they come. Through photos and stories, you will be introduced to many of the women from whom we import the fabrics sold through Kitambaa Designs, and the widows’ and grandmothers’ projects we support in Uganda. Travels with my Treadle is the story of 12 amazing Uganda women who make up the Bitengye Designers. This is a story full of hope and encouragement . Pippa will have her ‘LIttle Shop with Wings” at the trunk show.”
