Lakeside Quilters: Quilt til You Wilt (entry 15)

Hi Ladies, so for those of you who came and went, for those of you who stayed until the end and for those of you who missed it: Another FABULOUS Quilt til You Wilt day was had!!

Jo working busily on one of her many projects

Kim taking a well needed break especially after negotiating the price on her house – YAY it sold!!

Elke and her gorgeous block, beautiful!

Heather and her adorable pink and white quilt, she’s always so productive, nice job Heather!

Here’s our newest member Teena and she’s working on a blue and yellow star quilt – the instructions weren’t the best, remember measure twice cut one lol. PS good garbage can Teena.

Hey Kathy, guess you shouldn’t have done that with your tongue…captured for everyone to see 🙂

Mum asked me to take her picture in the window…not so flattering

here’s a much better one

this is the two of us the next morning, does it look like we went to bed at 3:45 am? Pretty bright eyed and bushy taled I’d say.

Until next time we girls get together, have happy and creative days!

Around the Net: Indian Block Company (entry 85)

Has anyone heard of The Indian Block Company? Has anyone used them?

For whatever reason, I receive their email notifications and they are always interesting, the one person I can think of is Ruthann as she does so many paper crafts along with a multitude of other things like stamping, knitting, soft blocking 🙂

If you have any feedback I would love to hear from you as I’m curious about this stuff – thanks

Until next time, have a happy and creative day,

Kind Words (entry 84)

We have a private blog posting for each of the Block of the Month clubs to help put the blocks together with step by step instructions, videos and more. For Journey of a Quilter, which started almost a month ago now, I got this excellent comment from Kathy B.

Thanks so much Kathy I so appreciate the feedback & I’m so glad you are enjoying yourself!!

“I have finished my first block in the Journey of a Quilter and I have to say it has been the forst BOM I have truly enjoyed doing and I cannot wait for the next block. Your video’s and instructions are great especially if you are a new quilter. It makes the project less intimidating. So I would encourage anyone who is hesitating to GO FOR IT. You will be happy you did.” Kathy
