BOM’s Month Two – (203)

Sew here’s the month 2’s that we’re working on now…

There is still room to sign up for some of these if you’re interested just email me or leave a comment and I’ll be in touch!

First: Life is Beautiful, an awesome applique technique, adorable stitchery and a journal about life

Next: HocusPocusVille – easy patchwork, and amazing stitchery…with some beading if you feel so inclined 😉

Truly Scrumptious – simply the cutest stitchery I’ve ever seen

Pies and Tarts, English Paper Piecing with foundation papers, easy applique and stunning results

cute little plastic storage for the tarts

Crazy Christmas this month we will be completing 3 blocks instead of 2 – how cute are these penguins?

Have I inspired you to maybe try one if you arn’t already? Come on board, lots of good fun and many techniques to help you along:)

Until next time, stay warm, happy and creative!

Round Robin, Take Two (202)

Here’s the second Round Robin in my group – I know I’m not supposed to share these so hopefully the person this belongs to doesn’t read my blog 😉

So this is how it came to me, center block complete by Cheryl, next round completed by Shannon and now my turn..

I added this funky border with mitered corners – what do you think? I know the fabric’s a little hard to look at lol but it sure worked out well.

Until next time, stay happy and creative…Valerie

Tip of the day: Keep a flat plastic box next to the sewing machine to corral those necessary tools together and keep them from rolling off the table 🙂 – I think this is a great idea…

All in for the DRAW – (201)

Sew as some of you know if you belong to our Block of the Month Clubs…we have an excellent incentive program IF you get your blocks finished by the last day of the month and a picture sent to me your name goes in for a draw…
